Planet Earth: India
The photo exhibition is dedicated to India, a great and ancient country. The exposition includes ninety works and affords an opportunity to expand the knowledge about India by making the visitors acquainted with Delhi, the capital of the country, and such towns as Jodhpur, Ajmer, Pushkar, Udaipur, and others.
India is a unique country in the whole world with its cultural and religious traditions that have been never broken since ancient times and exist nowadays. The first civilizations in the Indus valley originated more than two thousand years earlier than ancient Hellas. An enigmatic tribe, namely the Aryans, came to India and formulated the underlying principles of the further course of development of the country. Over a most part of its history,
India has been one of the centres of important trade routes and renowned for its richness and high cultural level. The exceptional variety of nationalities and religions is well represented by all manner of ethno-cultural types with their own traditional artistic movement, language, music, and dancing.
